check this out for me hey, if i email my .hpt file, can someone take a look at it and just give me an idea what might have gone wrong? it's the tune file that was used on my ws6 before it blew up.
Just by looking at a tune file, will not be enough to say what caused a motor to fail. More info would be required, such as a log during the failure, what mods were on the car, and what failed mechanically.

Car had patriot S3 LS6 heads, TSP 231/237 595/598 112+4lsa cam, flowtech longtubes, ORY, magnaflow catback, stage 2 4l60e, 3k stall, !air, !egr, stock bottom end, stock pushrods, stock rockers, ls1 intake, stock 28.8 injectors.

Oh it mechanically failed alright hehe...rod let go from the looks of it...personally I think it was a combination of the 98 motor...the 231/237 cam i traded him & high rpm shift points...stuff is just bound to break sometimes. I don't know how extensive his tuning was in the long run but I don't honestly know if it wouldve mattered much.
