Headers/tuning
If you aren't running cats, or deleted the AIR/EGR systems then you will throw a code. It won't affect the way the engine runs though, or shouldn't at least. As for tuning, the way I look at it is if I'm going to spend all that money on the headers, Y-pipe, and time to install it, you might as well get it tuned so you can get the most out of them.

yeah I got rid of the cats all ready and was using a new off road y-pipe with stock manifolds. I had it tuned to run right without the cats and no codes. So I figured it would be fine to just install the headers without tuning it again.
