Wideband & Stock PCM
Will a 2000 model PCM support a wideband o2 sensor in place of the factory narrowband? Are there even any wideband o2's that will plug into the factory harness? Just curious if it is absolutely necessary to have a wideband controller.

Yes, you can use a wideband in place of your NB. Not sure if there is a plug-in available. I think most people just splice it into their harness. Do a search in the PCM section and you'll find some threads on this subject.

Thank you. I have searched but could not find anything that I was looking for. If I can ask one more "set of" question and get some input I will let this thread die. Can I just splice into my original o2 harness for the output for PCM? And I believe that a wideband needs a 0-5v source so I can just use my EGR plug power for that since I don't have EGR anymore correct? (EGR is a 0-5v item) (i.e use power from EGRs 5volt source and just splice the other needed wires into the original o2 wires).
