can this be done?
I was just wondering if I could use the clutch sw. as a 2 step type rev limiter on the stock computer? I mean if I have the clutch depressed the rev limiter kicks in at say 5500, then when it out it will rev to say 6500. I know stock autos have it where if its in nutral or park it will only rev to say 3000 but in gear its higher.
Any thoughts on this or has it been tried and failed?

what do you mean it fails? that it goes to the depressed limiter?
I dont know how bad that would be, I plan on going with a twin turbo package and was hopeing I could spool it up at the line and then switch to the higher after I leave. I knew it would cut out during the shifts but dont know if that would be bad or good for the turbos.

Ok I've been thinking about this, what if I backed out the clutch sw to behind where I need to depress the pedal to disingage the clutch? I can make it so the sw. is only pushed for say the last inch of pedal travel then I could switch gears and never hit the preset limiter right?
I think all it does is disingage the cruise and let me start the car right? As long as I am not a stupid *** and push the clutch in with the cruise on I should be alright.
Thanks for any input.
