Should be fine, they made the controler weather tight and heat protected.

I am about to do the same install as soon as my Beer plate gets here

Beer, do you think I should mount the LED and the calibration switch on the plate too? Wont it be annoying to see a red light on all the time on the plate?

The link that you posted shows the LED and the switch in the top picture. Did you buy the kit used?

FRC I can put the Cal and LED in, it does not take up much space. Also the console will close so if you got tired of looking at it you can close it. If your tall I can put it up high in the console so the lid blocks it from your line of site.

Here it is an a F-Body Panel I made with the LC1 Cal/LED included.

Blown, Dean @ Dynotune can probably get you the switch and LED. The LED is a troubleshooting tool, it does not need to be hooked up unless you need to read error codes (# of times the LED flashes).

Beer, I am the same guy over CF, you are doing my plate now. I would appreciate it if you can put the LED and CAL holes in my plate so I can just put them and dont have to drill anything. You can put the CAL and LED right next to each other. If I get bored, I will just shut the lid

Can you please PM me the new drawing over CF with the additions?

Thanks!
