Gear problem with my computer
Gear problem with my computer I just had a custom tune done about 2 months ago. Now i put in a set of 4.10 gears to my car. The performance shop is to far for me to get to right now. I haev a Hypertech sitting at home. Will I hurt anything if i just install the Hypertech to change the gears and i don't touch anything else?

I have another customer ask me this question once, but it was related to using the DiabloSport to change the shift firmness.
The answer is it *might* work, but it *probably* won't. Hypertech could tell you for sure though. If you try it, you run the risk of blowing out the custom tune you had done.
