Car shooting flames!!!

Ive just recently noticed that when i look in the rear view mirror to watch how bad im pulling the cobras and mustangs and i start seeing that my car is making alot of black smoke and when i shift about a 2ft flame comes out of both tail pipes....I get my car tuned at MTI and jason it the one that usually does it so its usually done pretty well....Its been since around janurary since i had it last tuned....Whats my problem or is this normal

You are running rich.

My SS used to do that after I installed long tubes (was untuned), it was known as the Flame Throwing SS (I have video of it).

Have them look it over for you.
