no updates so far except that some folks have been succesful using the efi segment swap to keep the factory fuel gauge.
i have lived with this swap for almost a year now and thru an engine swap and it has been trouble free.

If I understand correctly, fuel sender is the same on 98' and later cars? That would mean that newer PCM will still KNOW amount of fuel left, and you are able to see it in HPTuners? If so, I could live without gauge in the cluster, I guess, but is it so?

Is this the correct PCM? Looks a bit different to mine (98')

yes, that is a 01-02 pcm, and will work fine.

The service number, on the pcm.

Stock 1999-2000 LS1 PCM, Service number 09354896
2001-2002 LS1 PCM, Service number 12200411

Is this correct (C2-8 is missing from list above)?
Blue C2-8 TAN TO Red C2-25

Also, if I connect C2-10 (Fuel Level Sensor Signal), will I see fuel level via PCM?
