Default Innovate LC1 LM Programmer..

I'm trying to change the report rate of the LC1 to slow it down for a more reasonable sampling. I can't get the LM Programmer software to open up, it keeps telling me to connect the serial cable and power up the sensor. I have the serial cable connecting through a usb to serial adapter since my laptop doesn't have a serial port. I have the drivers for the adapter and the laptop recognizes it when I plug in but I can't seem to connect LM Programmer to the wideband. I'm connecting the serial cable to the "IN" analog jack of the LC1 with the analog plug in the "OUT" jack.

Any thoughts or tips about using this software and cable?

I had the same problem found that right when you power up lc1 you have to start software do not wait very long or it will not connect. Hope this helps.

I might add depending on where your connectors are on the vehicle there might be a little crud or oxizidation inside the female connector. Insert the male plug very firm and twist a little. I had to do it on mine to get it to finally connect.
Also, double check that you are trying to connect correctly I cant tell you how many times I reversed the in/out plugs trying to connect The IN should have the termination plug and the out should have the cable going to the computer

Swap the terminator to the IN jack and put the serial cable in the OUT jack.
