Default time for a tune?

so ive been having problems with my car since i put my headers on 2 weeks ago. I have pace setter lts to 18" bullet resonators then dumps.. no merge not exactly much of an exhaust. The car backfires like no other. Taking off from 6 out of 10 stop lights it backfires, always smells rich as hell, and is getting **** gas milage. It isnt throwing any codes other than no rear o2 activity.
I;m worried about hurting something with all this problems with it. I have having some things tuned out this thursday and hopefully getting it tuned after about 3 weeks... im wondering if you guys think i should get my dad to load me the money nd just get it tuned this weekend or is it ok to wait?

thanks

o mods are
Lid
Free Ram Air
Headers
Bullets
3.73s

You may want to check/change your plugs and wires before getting a tune. I had the same problem with backfires and havent had any since I changed the plugs and wires.

Also, I'd recommend double checking your front O2 wiring (make sure it didn't get melted).

and check out your coolant (engine temp sensor) that is on the drivers side of the block, towards spark plug #1, make sure you didn't break it when you installed the headers

That exhaust may simply be too short and under decel, off throttle it's pulling air that is reaching your O2's. Sounds like false lean causing fuel trimming to swing rich from the fresh air back onto the O2s
