Default Does the Innovative LC1 come with the Logworks software?

I bought it with the intentions of monitoring AF, etc... with my laptop. Do I need more?

Are you runing a data logger like EFI Live or HP Tuners? If not, the LC-1 will only give you A/F over a given time period. You will not get TPS%, RPM, SPEED, etc. which are pretty critical tworads deciphering exactly at what is going on. Innovate does sell boxes that can datalog those parameters also. I would think though that you would be ultimately better served by going with Live or Tuners, seeing how you have a Gen 3 motor/pcm. If this was an old school setup (read no pcm) the stand alone setups from Innovate would make sense.

However, ultimately if your goal is to only monitor(with no intentions of tuning), then yes you could use the laptop but, then why not just get a gage, program the LC-1 with a desktop you already have and forgo the price of a laptop?

The reason why I am saying this last part is because it seems as though more and more tracks are frowning on laptops, even if they are securely mounted. If you have any future aspirations of tuning, or already have a laptop, ok. But if you don't, then save yourself some cashe.

My intentions in the end are to simply monitor and make sure all is well during my runs. I have a EFI Tune from another member but not the software myself. Eventually I want a Dynotune and at $500 I hope there is no need to change anything. I was hoping that with LC1 I could do what it showed on the box which is view virtual gauges and look at fuel maps. I do have a laptop so thats no biggy

Short answer is yes. Longer answer is you will need optional hardware to log rpm with afr so that you know where you are running x afr.

What other hardware so I can look out for it. I have also considered getting a license for EFI live but I think it already does all that. I was just planning to use the functions on the box with my laptop?
