uhh... did you tune it for the 110 octane?

you can advance the timing with that octane, and if you didn't then yeh.... yer slower

if it was tuned on 93 then the timing is optimized for that octane... putting 110 octane in it makes it much harder to ignite the fuel... if you're not getting KR then no reason to put in higher octane gasoline

Higher octane numbers don't mean more power. The number rating simply means the ignitability of the fuel and how fast it burns. 87 will ignite much easier and burn faster than 93 and 93 will ignite easier and burn faster than 110 and so on. Higher compression engines generally use higher octane ratings. Forced Induction will also affect octane requirements because it affects the physical compression of the engine. Since your car is meant for 91 or 93 octane (depending of the state) than it is set up to burn that 93 octane in the amount of time the valves are closed. By putting the 110 octane in your engine it didn't have enough time to burn all the fuel before the exhaust valves open to release the fuel. So alot of your power is being wasted and exiting into the exhaust before it can be used.

On a side note I bet your headers were pretty close to glowing red.

The only thing that is 110 is leaded race fuel. The lead will foul the 02 sensor's, but not in one run. Innovate says that they will last up to 40 hours with leaded fuel, so you didn't hurt it, but that lead may have caused the 02 to give some strange readings.
