Simple PCM swap question...
Thanks
Tony
that all of the segment ID's on the first page are the same for both files. If
they are different, Then you could create a fried PCM.

I'm going to be changing a couple of things on a completely stock 01
z28, auto. Would it be wise to upload a file from another person's z28
that is exactly like the one I plan to do? Is it safe? I'm assuming I
can always go back to the stock file.
If it's ok to do, does anybody have one they can email me offline?
If you purchase a used 98 A4 PCM I would have it re-flashed with the Tech 2 with a VIN for the appropriate drivetrain and proceed with LS1Edit from there. If it was an M6 PCM to begin with you should be fine... like the above posts said just ensure the #1 segment ID is the same if you use an Edit file from another PCM.
