tuned or not? hello my name is jake . im fairly new to this place i just bought a 2001 ls1 ws6 ta. and i noticed that when i get on it it doesnt shift till about 6250 when redline is at 6. so does this mean my car has been tuned?.. and for my mods i know for sure i have ceramic coated long tube headers and 3 inch exhaust all the way back and no cats. also would me being able to rev up to 6250 cause me to loose a gear?
Is your car an A4 or M6? Second if your are able to rev to 6250 and don't hit a Rev limited, your car has a tune. Also with out cats you would throw a SES light and code for there not being any rear O2 sensors. They could of tuned that out or just installed O2 Sims. I'm betting that your car is tuned.
