I would but I have already started the tuning and dont have the logs to go back and make the changes to.

just use the interpolate feature in whatever tuning software you have to create your primary from your secondary table...not that difficult.

You don't make changes to your logs. You use the logs to make changes to your tune, which you can do at any time. Just use the tune that you have now and start making changes to the Primary VE.

This is the way I have done it and I made 340 rwhp and 348 rwtq with just bolt ons. My LS6 intake is on its way, which should add about 15 to that.

Valid point

Completely irrelevant

Completely irrelevant

...and this is "completely irrelevant" how? If you don't have a good tune, you won't make good horsepower. The day I put my car on the dyno, there was a C-6 ZO6 that dynoed ahead of me. He had headers, high flows and a cat back. He only made 430 rwhp. His AFR at WOT was 11.5. But, according to you, a tune is "completely irrelevant" to making horsepower, so leaning out his fuel wouldn't have gotten him about 40 more horsepower.

I'll admit, the part about the intake is probably irrelevant.

It's irrelevant because anyone can fudge PE and load a strong timing table up on the dyno for numbers... which has NOTHING to do with VE tuning at all.... now if you had been talking about your impeccable part-throttle driveability

What he said... lol

It's irrelevant b/c your dyno numbers have nothing to do with the method you use to tune. I can get you the same A/F 5 different ways if you like, all of which is a matter of preference.

Now i don't care what way you choose, if you don't understand the concept of what your are doing, of course you won't maximize power, but to relate dyno numbers to a method of tuning doesn't make much sense considering there are a multitude of ways you could have come to those results.
