Which kind of tuning software/hardware to get?

Which kind of tuning software/hardware to get? I just installed a cam in my 4.8 (Comp 212/218 .522/.529 114) in my 4.8 truck and was wondering the pros/cons of the different tuners that are available.
I currently have a HPPIII, and it was fine for what I had, but not for where I'm planning on going!
I'm leaning towards getting a Diablo Predator tuner over EDIT because I don't have a laptop. My question is would it be worth the extra money to get EDIT over a Predator? My plans include:
*converter
*gears
*longtubes
*cam (already installed)
Will I need the extra flexibility that EDIT offers, or will the Predator take care of my very basic tuning needs?

I would go ahead and spend the extra $$ for edit.
If you decide you want to go futher you will have edit
Just remember its never realy fast enough
I got a used laptop for $500 usedlaptops.com and
edit was $550 then $300 a-tap V2.04 $1350 total
seems like alot but I will never have to pay for
tuning, its cheaper in the end.
