EFI Live users in Twin Cities
EFI Live users in Twin Cities I posted this in the midwestern forum, thought I would try here.
Wondering if anyone can help me get my EFI Live to work. I can get connected to my car, but it boots me off right away. I've been posting on the EFI Live forum but it can take a while to get responses, and I've been fighting with this for a couple weeks. Or, if someone has a 98 I can try hooking up to yours for free.Thanks.

I use EFILive and live in St.Michael. A couple of questions:
1) When it boots you, are you getting an error message? If so, you can look at the error log for details that can help you pinpoint the problem.
2) Can you connect with the tune and scan software?
3) Is this V2? Ever since I "upgraded" to V2 I get intermittent connection problems. Never had this problem with V1.
4) Weather permitting, I may be at Porky's this weekend. So maybe we can meet there to take a look.

I don't know about an error log. A box pops up saying its trying to reconnect, but it won't until I unplug the usb and plug it back in.
I can connect to both, but after I try to log in scan it boots me shortly. I connect in tune and try to read my pcm, but it only makes it about 44k out of 512k.
This is V1, Paul sent me a new unit overnight from New Zealand, it connects, but I am still having problems. I don't know if its me(probably), my car (also had problems with my roomates 05 trailblazer), or laptop(also tried his laptop, both newer XP machines). I appreciate Paul and some others who have been giving me alot of help on the EFI forum, but I'm wondering if it will ever work. If you go to Midway I would definately try and meet you, I would drive to your location, whatever it takes. Thanks for the reply.
