Need help throwing code P1626 P1626: Theft Deterrant Fuel Enable Signal Lost
Pretty much means i cant start my car . Has anyone had any problems with this code and what was your solution? I had to manually jump it b/c i was stranded 40 miles from my house which really sucked. Was the security light flashing on the IPC? Sounds like the car just isn't recognizing the key and a VATS issue (dirty key pelet, broken wires at key cyl, etc). It can be turned off with tuning, bypassed with a resistor of the same value as the key - try another key first. Think this is the link you wanted to post: www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic8961.php
Well i have a BRAND NEW spare key that i tried and nothing, so i just ordered a new ignition switch. If i had a 98 i would have been able to disable the VATS via HPTuners b/c I have the license for it. Thanks for reposting the correct like i appreciate it. Anyone else with suggestions?
