Help Asap

A buddy who tunes cars was trying to do my car tonight and he has tuner catts for LT1s. Its the OBDII software and he was trying to get it to read the pcm and it said it failed to connect over and over. I disconnected the battery for about 45 minutes and it re pinged and it started to work and then disconnected. Also, whenever I put the coolant fan relays back in the fuse box, number 1 fan stays running for a long *** time. SOME HELP PLEASE!

When I hooked up a snapon scanner to my car it didn't connect one time. I turned the key off for 30 seconds and tightened all of the connections and it connected the second time.
