I've got a 98 that has been tuned with HPT and I would like to know what I need to buy so I can adjust my trannys shift points and make minor tuning changes. The car run great as far as the engine goes but I've always had trouble with the tranny hitting the rev limiter before it changes gears, I've been told I need to log and correct as I go. My tuners a 150 mile round trip for a trial & error reflash and buying my own tuning package is getting alot more resonable. I don't want to tune anybody elses car. Just mine. And I want to be able to log. I was interested in the roadrunner cpu until somebody told me it wouldn't pass inspection. So I throw this question up to the forum. I've read all the stickys but sometimes they don't tell you whats cutting edge. When they were posted they were the best advice for the time but whats my best option now.
