abs, idle problem!!

abs, idle problem!! my abs inop light is on.....put it through a scanner and it was the right front....checked to connections and they were green so i cleaned them...still stayed on. and my idle drops to about 600 when i let off the gas. would any of this have to do with my speedo not being hooked up?
What do you mean your speedo's not hooked up? The vehicle speed sensor in the transmission isn't hooked up? If so, yes that could cause idle problems because the throttle cracker would never kick in. I'm assuming your car is a six speed.

yes my car is a 6-speed...i just swapped the trans and when pulling the old one down iw as on the passenger side and my buddy was on the drivers side and didnt see the clip was still attached and it snapped the wires.
