M6 Idle Question I have a 6 speed 1998 Z28 that with a descreened MAF, a 160 degree stat, and TR6 gapped at 0.050 (100 shot dry).
My car always idles at 1,000 RPM, is this normal?

Re: M6 Idle Question No I don't have anything to scan with. I've owned the car since last July and always thought the idle was high.
My thought was, is it possible since I never seems to get above 165 degrees that idling at 1000 is normal?
