advanced non-ls1 help Hello everyone, I have a serious problem with one of my friends car. He has a 96 300zx tt and he blew his engine losing to me. Well he helped me build my car (see sig) and i feel i owe him one. We pulled the motor and put forged internals, bigger turbos plus larger injectors. We are to the ecu and AEM says he is SOL on running any tuning program himself, that they have chips that are pre made. So, the question is...............can a ls1 or cobalt ecu run his engine with hp tuners(he does not have VVT) or any other kind of ecu? To me they look like just senors that we already use. Help me understand this as i don't see that there are no options, they are just sensors that can be rewired if needed.

ask on www.twinturbo.net they are the 300ZX Gurus. The 1996 Zs switched to OBDII and lost the VVT....
