Random 2000rpm idle / 2 part question
Random 2000rpm idle / 2 part question It's done it three times in the past 2 weeks. After coming to a complete stop my car will idle at 2000 rpm. After it does it, it will not allow the engine to drop below exactly 2000 rpm If I put the car in gear it will speed up to reach 2000 rpm. To stop it I just shut the car off for a couple of seconds then turn it back on & everything is back to normal. The engine is stock, the computer has been modified by a hypertech tuner, but only for top speed & wheel height. I've had the car for over a year now with the tuning & it's been fine until now. Any Ideas? Part two. . I've never used ls1 edit or predator, but can any of these modify the way the computer controls the rpm range. Before this problem started, it still bothered me that the computer screws with my throttle posistion at different speeds.
