2nd gear start
2nd gear start My buddy recently got hp tuners to tune his cam car. He had a headers/3600 converter tune done before he bought hp tuning. He is having an issue with the car starting out in 2nd gear sometimes. I got my car tuned for cam headers and a 4000 stall by the same person that tuned his car. I also have the same issue as him where sometimes the car starts out in 2nd gear. If you put it in manual first the car clicks down into first. If you shut the car off and restart it the car will be back to normal and start out in 1st gear like it should. We are both new to hp tuners so we are still learning but im wondering if there is a way to get rid of this. I believe the code is PO751. I dont think that going into the DTC list and unchecking the ses light and setting it to no error reported will solve this correct me if im wrong though? So does anyone know how to get rid of this problem. I also posted this on the hp tuners board.
