Please help... get gears or get it tuned? I have a 99 TA with Spec 4f clutch ..LTs ...ORY... Hooker Catback ...LID... MSD wires...volt booster..no emission eqpt. and no a/c and some other little things.
it was tuned using a street tune by the previous owner with these mods. he actually had true duals. i replaced it with the currant exhaust set up.
So i am wondering if i would benifit more from a dyno tune by a good shop, or should i install a set of 4.10s? what do you guys think?
i have an extra $500 to play with that fell in my lap that my wife doesn't know about

i would honestly look at getting a good tune on it. dyno tune and re-tune street. shouldn't cost you $500 for it either...around 350-400.
u sure you want to go to 4.10's? you drive it much? i got 3.73's and its pulls like a b**** ; and i get 25MPG on the highway and 17 around town.
going to 3.42's and hopefully she will spool quicker and get better highway mileage...around town will prolly go down tho
