I INSTALLED MY SLP SKIPSHIFT ON MY 2002SS BUT I AM STILL GETTING BLOCKED.I AM 99% SURE IT IS IN THE RIGHT PLACE(THE INSTRUCTIONS DID NOT SAY MUCH).ANYBODY GOT A PIC OF THEIRS INSTALLED(JUST TO MAKE SURE).HAS ANYONE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS?????

 

you sure its actually blocking you or is it that you still see the light indicator come on..cuz mine still does that although its overridden

 

YES,IT IS STILL BLOCKING.SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT ABOUT THE LIGHT SO I THOUGHT I WAS WRONG.TRIED IT AGAIN AND STILL GOT BLOCKED.THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the top plug is the reverse lockout, the plug underneath is the CAGS. Both on the drivers side.

 

Oops! I'm wrong. In the shop manual it shows it being the selonid around the inspection plate. I can scan a copy of the pic. Also here is a link to the ls1 cags install site.

Calm down. Is the car difficult going into reverse? If so, you might have plugged it into reverse lockout solenoid.

 

Oskar Z28---It is hard to get in reverse.Where do i need to plug it in if this is wrong ?????
