need help guys. my O2 sensors have taken a crap on me and my car is running shitty. my old roommate has a 00 FRC vette with a pair of O2 sensors he said i can get from him. they are for the rear though. cant i take his rear O2 sensors and make my own extensions and use them for my fronts? also he said his front O2s and his rear O2s were different.... one pair was square and the other was rectangular. does it matter?

 

The 00 Vette rear O2s will be a direct plug in without extenssions because they have around 36" leads on them and will have the square 4 pin connector your car uses. They are commonly used on F-bodies running long tube headers.

 

grab them , those are what you need anyway , has the long harness and its a gm sensor so the switching rate will be correct too
