ok so my car is throwing a low voltage output on my mass air flow. what the hell does that mean and how do i fix this? i've had 2 mass air flow's on the car. i tried using a mass air flow translator. nothing so now i need help.

My 1998 Z Did the same thing when I first got it. I cleared the code a couple times and it just stopped after a couple weeks. Very bizarre, I guess our cars just have goofy MAFs.:shrug:

I love your screen name. Very becoming. I imagine you have a re-useable oiled filter of some sort?? Stop hosing it down with oil. Very carefully clean your MAF's tiny bits like you are washing your *****, with an approved MAF cleaner;-short of the assigned cleaner you may or may not be able to aquire at your local autoparts store; isopropal with a q-tip.
Seriously, short of that, check the wires coming from the pcm to the MAF or simply the eng sensor fuse.
