LS1 Edit and HPP3

I had someone tune my car with LS1Edit. He forgot to change my gear ratio setting. His shop is a few hours from my house. I'm wondering if I can use my HPP3 to change my gear ratio setting without messing up my LS1edit tuning? Anyone know?

No one knows if HPP3 will overwrite LS1Edit if you just change the gears?

I'm pretty sure HPP3 only modifies the program already stored in your PCM, so you should be OK.
