I recently bought a modded 02 Camaro a few day ago. When ever I goto WOT in first gear, as soon as it gets up around 4000 RPMs it will bog down repeatedly until i let off the gas and the SES light will come on. It is pulling a p0101 and p0102 code. Anyone know why it would be doing this? It only happens in first gear.

 

Dunno, but they're both MAF codes - is the ENG SEN fuse OK?

 

Unplug the maf then start the car. IF it gets better then it is probably just a bad maf, or a bad connection.

 

Well it only happens in first gear under wide open throttle. Then once i turn the car off and wait an hour or two the light shuts off. I can't drive with the MAF unplugged, can I?
