help with code P0803 ? My check engine light came on and I used my hand held scan tool and it said P0803 1-4 shift solenoid circuit malfunction.Does anyone know what this is and how do I fix it. O yea my car is a 01 TransAm 6 speed.

That's the skip shift/CAGS circuit. Did you try to bypass it with the resistor mod or buy the plug-in eliminator? If it's also hard to get into reverse suddenly I'd check the ENG SEN fuse for an open, reverse lockout solenoid is on the same circuit.
