Changing tires, what WOT adjustments? My car is programmed for a 275/40/17 tire, but I'm now going to use a 255/50/16..
Will I need any adjustments?

Best bet is to measure actual tire height. Oddly enough, the Z28 (245/50/16) and the SS (275/40/17) have the same calibration from the factory from what I've seen. I think the difference between the two is ~0.1 inch.
Based on my experience, I'd say you're looking at a tire height of 25~25.2 inches. The stock cal. assumes ~24.94 inches. So, you're talking an error of 1%.
