Default Hypertech Problem!

i just tried to change some settings on my hypertech. but before i could get into the settings part it said that calibratin was not found and programmer needs to be reset. does this mean i will have to ship my programmer to hypertech. anybody know how much this costs?

Yes, you need to call Hypertech.

If it was purchased as a new unit, then they will probably fix it for free. If you purchased it used, in all likelihood it'll cost $400 (that seems to be the price they like to throw out).

Here's a hint... YOU BOUGHT IT NEW. No matter what.

Did you buy it new? Seems like I heard they only work on one car, it checks the VIN.
