Heads and Cam tuning help please?
Heads and Cam tuning help please? well Bill and I just got finshed with heads and cam install. I broke in the cam and no SES light. but on the 2nd start up she popped a ses light. which was random misfire. it only does it at idle. as soon as i give it gas it goes away. i have ls1 edit and have not tuned it at all yet. is there any ideas on how to get the misfires to go away?
i have TEA stage 1.5 heads and a 224 224 .581 .581 112 lsa cam. TR55 plugs gapped at .055 , hooker LTs, SLP lm exhaust, ls1 motor sports lid, whisper maf ends. Bauer ported TB not drilled out.whisper ram air, TB bypass . if anybody has any ideas please let me know what to do. thnaks alot

Re: Heads and Cam tuning help please? Yep Larry delete the code, the LSA you have will always be picked up as a misfire at idle. Unless you want to give it some gas every 10 seconds at idle to keep it from popping, that is your only other option.
Re: Heads and Cam tuning help please? i tired that on mine, but it worked fine for a day, then the next that code came back left and right.. i think its hit or miss on some cars
