Stupid Stupid Idle I appreciate any advice you guys have on this:
My car is a 1998 Z28 M6, Air lid, 5177, timing tuner, TR6's @0.037" and descreened MAF.
My problem is the car won't idle right. It normally idles at 1000 RPM. When I put the cluth in it seems like it wants to go to 850 but then it jumps to 1000 and stays there.
So far I have changed the wires / plugs, sprayed all of the vacuum lines with carb cleaner, changed the thermostat (thought maybe not warming up), and reset the PCM at every change.
I do not have any code scan tools. Any thoughts?
Can the EGR cause this?
