So moving the IAT will cause a rich attitude in the tune and then you tune around it , did it really accomplish anything except causing a rich condition that needed to be calibrated out .
It may cause a rich condition initially. But, that's not the focus. The focus is on AFR variance as temperature changes.

AFR is a ratio, you can get the two parts involved completely wrong yet still get the right ratio. with that in mind, also remember you should not be regulating fuel to the car, that's computer's job. this only leaves you with one thing to do: estimate airmass.
