I want to run a swicth to turn my fans on at the track after a run . Is there a ecm wire to put a swtich inline? Is it a ground or a hot circuit?

I need the fans to come on when the ecm tells it to but I also want it for added safety at the track for cool downs and such . Thanks

It usually helps to add year make and model. Then I can post reply. Is this for the 69 camaro with an ecm in it.

have you tried a search, cuase there is a nice write up a guy did on how to do it yourself.

there is one wire you ground in the 3rd fan relay in the engine bay. try gounding them one by one untill they turn on then just add your switch.
