Default tuning issue or somthing else?

2000 ls1 firebird it ran 12.85-13.00 on lid,hptuners,lts,ory,magnaflow,on street tires,my speed was 111,i put a tr224 cam,fully built trans,ss3600,now the car runs 12.25-12.50 at 109 do you think it's in the tune or something else?

The tune will play heavily on the performance but, what were the DA's on both runs?

Definitely a tune after that cam change would be very wise.

If you are on a stock tune with all of those mods you might wanna be a little cautious there (you know, the opposite of RACING on a track) until you at LEAST get some kind of idea what your AFR is.

what rear gear do you have? I would definitely retune after a cam swap though

Default sorry

i had it dyno and tuned after the cam was install,but not since the stall and the tranny built,a/f is at 12.6. just wondering why a lost 2 mph after the cam swap i thought i would gain 3-5 mph.

IF your converter is loose it may be giving up some MPH from slip on the high side of the track
