Default Hooked up HPtuners today and found.......

Well i finally got HPtuners today and i was pretty amazed to find that my fuel trims were disabled. When i bought the car i was told it had been tuned which i have no doubt it was but why in the world would the tuner leave the car in open loop all the time? Well i turned the fuel trims on and i noticed a big difference in the way the car runs. There is much more throttle response and the car just seems to run a lot better so i am happy to say the least but i was just wondering why the tuner would do that?

Did he mention he's in Speed Density? I missed it...

As far as being more consistent I would need to challenge that comment as well in most cases.
