Default Falling Power Curve @5.5k

all right heres the deal guys, at about 5500 rpm my 99 SS camaro starts to loose power, it feels like a slug pulling itself to 6k rpm's.

i jut had it on the dyno because the problem only started happening after my LT/ORY install. the wideband was showing that right at 5500 rpm the MAF started freaking out and the car started pulling timing and the injector duty cycle fell about 15%

we all came to the consensus that i was having some serious valve float issues and that was the cause of all my problems. but i have never heard of a near stock ls1 having problems with valve float.

my mods that i forgot to mention earlier are:

Lid/Filter
Pacesetter LT's
TSP ORY
Flowmaster CB
LS6 intake manifold
P&P Throttle Body
EGR/AIR Removal

and with these mods i put down a meager 326 rwhp & 342 rwtq

Any help would be appreciated, i guess worse comes to worst i will have to buy a cam package, dangit

i didnt think of a bent valve but its all stock internals so i dont know how a valve would have come into contact with a piston...

the car has 56k miles

exhaust is the small valve, it's not gonna hit the piston unless it drops.

I mean, just pull the valve covers and look, odds are something will STICK out at you. I have seen a stock engine with a bent ex valve do exactly what you describe, that's why I posted up.
