LS1 esit - can it download the stock PCM program?

LS1 esit - can it download the stock PCM program? Hello,
I have a blank PCM and am wondering if I could
download, for example, my the program in my stock
PCM. I suppose there are two aspects - the PCM
program and the PCM falsh memory. Would a "blank"
PCM lack both? I got it from Shaun (valvegod)?

Re: LS1 esit - can it download the stock PCM program? You need to take it to a dealer or someone who has either a Tech-II or a Ease SPS flash repogrammer and have them flash it with your VIN number and the newest flash for your model year.
If the PCM you got was already flashed with your VIN and base flash code then you could flash it with a LSedit flash file if you had one as long as the VIN is the same and the first segment number matches what is in the orginal PCM you have.

My local dealershipo is usually **** about doing somthing out of the ordinary. How much should it cost for them to do this job?
