Default P0430 code?

I had this code come up on my car. Is this code usually a bad rear O2 sensor or is the cat. bad itself?

It's almost always the cat.. Should be covered by the 8yr./80k warranty.

Well, i still have a problem. As i post earlier i have a P0430 code. So i took it to the dealer yesterday and they replace both passenger side O2's and the cat. Drove 5 miles from the dealer and BAMM the SES light came back on. Drove back to dealer, they scanned it with Tech 2 and the 0430 code came back. What the heck else can cause this? I told the dealer i want the PCM either replaced, or erased then re-flash with a new stock file. Just wanted to know who's seen this?

Its common with longtube headers and cats. All you need to do is get O2 sims or tuned out.

If you have headers you will need the tune. I have headers, cats and all four oxygen sensors. Get the tune instead of the sims that way you fix the problem and drive back home with more power. I got rid of my PO420 & PO430 codes and gained 20hp and 19tq with a dyno tune.

Your sig says FLP headers. How did a dealer replace a FLP cat? It also says LS1 Edit. Just turn the codes off with it. Or is this on a different car?

I didn't look at his sig before I typed what I thought was a good way to go, strange he didn't take care of this already with LS1 edit.
