HELP!!! What tuner should i get!? Ok. I have a 2001 Camaro SS. SLP long tubes and 3 inch exhaust, loud mouth and center mount. SLP cold air and air box lid, and Summit MAF. my computer is popping air codes. what tuner should i use to fix these. I am so confused on this stuff, im use to older muscle cars with no computers.
it really depends on how much you want to spend and what you will use it for. i have EFI Live HP TUNERS and LS1 EDIT. I prefer the EFI Live but HP tuners has a lower buy-in price. EFI and HP both come with a scan tool.my ls1 edit is outdated so i dont use it any more, but i think it's the least exspesive of all, at least it used to be, and last i saw the scanner was in beta. good luck, these threads always blow up with one is better then the other, but they are all basically the same. just stay away from the hand-helds they are a bit more limited with what they can do.
