4l60e lock up I have a ls1 in a 67 nova with a 4l60e with a ms4 and a ts ecm tune with all emmisions hacked out... the converter tries to lock up a 55 but does not quite do it so it makes the car want to bogg or stall out & seems to be speed sensitive happens in 3rd top end and 4th at the same speed!!? Other than that it shifts hard in every gear...should I unplug the vss to see if that changes anything? Or where should i start looking..ECM...Trans...etc..I would like to go at least 65!!

You can adjust the lock/unlock speeds with tuning software. You can set them to any speed you like and you can also adjust shift points for part throttle as well as wot. And you can adjust about everything else. I've had to change my shift points and converter lock/unlock settings quite a bit after installing a cam to maintain good drivability. I had the same problem; it would shift and/or lock up too soon and bog on part throttle shifts.
