anyonehaving issues with their MSD timing twister??? i installed the msd tioming wister on my friends 02 SS. well i took it for a ride and after 29 minutes of casual/normal driving, car sputtered, would barely idle and would stall when i let the clutch out to drive the car. the red light blinks when i am driving it, i don't know what the hell is going on. i bypass it and the car runs fine!!!
i did notice that it had the WRONG f'n cam sensor connector on it!! wtf! i believe the connector on the earlier 98-99 ls1's had the same conector for the crank and cam, which is what this unit has, so i trimed the poke yoke/ error mistake proofing feature off of the cam connector so that it would insert on the back of the intake. as i said when in bypass mode the car runs fine so i don't believe it has anything to do with the connector.
time to call MSD. i was just wondering if anyone else experienced this.
