Will this work?

I just purchased LS1 Edit versoin 1.4 it says and got it in the mail and on the interface box where the cables connect to it says "LS1-EDIT 1999-2000 cars". I have a 2000 silverado with a 5.3. when i try to connect(read pcm) it says Connection failed.

Is this the reason that its say this(because 1999-2000 cars)?

Or do i have other problems?

FYI- the answer is no, it will only work on 99-00 cars not trucks.....****

If you just bought it, try and return it.... there are MUCH MUCH better tuning suites available now like HPTuners or EFI Live.
