Got mice? I'd never seen any sign of mice being in my engine compartment until I removed the pcm yesterday so I could send it in for some adjustments...and there it was, the harness that passes through the firewall behind there had been chewed on. It looks like I will need to repair about 6 different wires in various spots and get some new conduit/loom. A couple of the wires were nearly corroded in half. I think I caught it just in time before some things started to not work. I think this must have happened a couple of winters ago when I stored a couple of cars in my barn (along with mine) which had been sitting outside for years and I later found out they had mice in them. Oh well, I'm just glad I found it now and not later!
I didn't know if others have had damage in this area too, but I just thought I'd mention it so you could be aware of it.

I had some real damage!!! It was in my work truck though. Was driving down the road minding my buisness, make a turn and blahhhhhhhh. Truck dies wont start. Tow company comes out gets the truck, the Pcm isnt responding at all. They take cover off of pcm and guess what?? Theres a big fat rat shocked to ****. Best part is my boss called BS so they sent him the rat in a bag. You should have seen his face.....lol

i only work with purpose bred mice and rats you got a case of wild animals
