Emissions test in AZ In AZ, once your car is 5 years old you have to get it inspected. If the car is OBDII, they scan the computer to see if it passed all the diagnostic tests. If so, they don't hook it up to the sniffer. I used LS1edit to delete the rear O2 codes. Will the car still "pass" the test, or will the fail code still appear? If you delete the cats, does the computer even run the test anymore?

On the cars I have editted, when I have removed those codes the emissions test still goes to a complete and pass after many driving cycles viewing it with EFILive. Of course it also probably depends on how you "turn off" the code with LS1edit.
