question about HP Tuners Credits
Ok, I am ordering the HP pro suite, and I need to know how many credits I need to buy along with the 8 that is included. I will be tuning my 3 LS1 F Bodies, all "simple" tunes.
Will I have to buy credits every time I want to retune my car? Or is one license unlimited?
How many credits does it take to tune one LS1 Car? I have one 98, and two 2000 cars. I also have an 02 but it will not be tuned.
I am not understanding the credit facts on the HP Tuners site.
Thank you

This should answer many of your questions http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11847
Single vcm licenses for LS1 pcm's use 2 credits, once you've licensed the file you'll never need to license it again and can flash that file or a modified version of it into the pcm it came from an unlimited amount of times.
As long as your using the stock operating systems you'll only use 6 of your 8 credits to license those 3 pcm's you speak of and still have 2 left to add another pcm or custom operating systems.

greatly appreciated! One more quick question, if you do a year model (the 6 credits), does that mean you can tune any, lets say, 2000 ls1 car? I mean if I did that could I do both 2000 cars I have with that one deal? Or am I misunderstanding this

great, so doing a 2000 year model license and then one 98 license with my 8 credits would be best thing to do.
